HIGHLIGHT: “Oyatsu Marche” means “snack market,” and that’s exactly what it is. The shop’s main specialty are Liege-style sugar waffles that you bite into like a cookie. You can have them fresh at the shop, perhaps drizzled with some ice cream. Otherwise, they are also delicious to eat at home after sticking them in a toaster oven for a few short minutes. What’s great about the market is that they also have guest bakers bring in homemade cookies, scones, pound cake, granola, jam, and all sorts of goodies to sell. There’s something different every day, so every visit is special!
RECOMMENDED: Their little treats and array of trinkets available in their “Zakka Owl” sundries corner of the store are great for gifting. Put together a basket for your friend or co-worker and ask at the counter for gift wrapping.
